festlex-ifd software package provides Italian support for Festival, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install festlex-ifd
festlex-ifd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the festlex-ifd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep festlex-ifd *
You will get with festlex-ifd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
